Data Deletion Instructions

1. Option 1: Delete from inside Axierra (fastest)

1. Sign in to Axierra (web or mobile app).
2. Open Settings, then Account.
3. Choose Delete my account and all data.
4. Confirm with your password. You will get a confirmation email and a confirmation code.

2. Option 2: Remove Axierra from Facebook or Instagram

Removing the Axierra app from your Facebook or Instagram settings disconnects the account and sends us an automatic data deletion request for the Meta data connected to it.

On Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and Websites) → find Axierra → Remove → tick “Delete posts, videos or events Axierra posted on your Facebook” if you want that too → Confirm.

On Instagram: Settings and privacy → Website permissions → Apps and websites → find Axierra → Remove.

After you remove the app we disconnect the account, stop all access, and delete the Meta data we received from it, such as messages, comments, profile information and access tokens. We give you a confirmation code you can use on the status page below to check progress.

3. Option 3: Ask us by email

Email privacy@axierra.com from the email address on your account (or tell us your business name and connected Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp account) with the subject “Data deletion request”. We confirm it is you and reply within 30 days. If you are a customer of a business that uses Axierra, tell us which business and which account or phone number you used to message them.

4. What gets deleted, and what we must keep

We delete:

• Your account, profile and team members.
• Connected account details and access tokens for Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok and others.
• Conversations, messages, comments, leads and customer details.
• Products, posts, templates, campaigns and settings.
• Photos and videos you uploaded, from our storage.

We keep, only as long as the law requires:

• Payment, invoice and tax records (6 years).
• A record that a customer opted out (so we never contact them again) and a record of the deletion itself.
• Security logs needed to prevent fraud and abuse (12 months).

Content you posted on Facebook or Instagram through Axierra stays on those platforms until you delete it there.

5. How long it takes

• Immediately: access to your account stops and connected accounts are disconnected.
• 30-day grace period when you delete the whole account from the app: you can sign in and cancel the deletion during this time.
• Within 30 days after that: your data is permanently deleted from live systems. Encrypted backups are overwritten within 35 days after that.
• Meta data deletion requests (Option 2) are carried out without the grace period, because you have asked Meta to revoke access.

6. Check the status of a request

Every request has a confirmation code. Enter it on the deletion status page to see whether your data has been deleted.
